Fringe Fest Day 2

Great weather, great food (Cecile’s noodles, John’s burgers), great cakes, great music (STOP & No Excuses), great to see at least 15 church members today, met lots of lovely festival people, and shared the love of God in all sorts of ways.
Check out STOP’s set here STOP live at Fringe Fest
A few highlights include praying with Mark from Fareham who has found God and is on a journey out of addiction. His whole demeanour says so!
Met a lot of old friends, who keep coming back, including one of my old pupils, Jane and her posse, who informed us they had been “dreaming of Cecile’s noodles all year!”
Rock Bear made his Fringe Fest debut and found his way into plenty of photos!
Lovely to meet 7 year old Lalani and her mum. She had recently had her name on the God loves you sign and they decided to pop down, all glittered up, because they were having their own DIY festival and we were part of it! They loved their noodles.
It’s fantastic having the Street Pastors using the church as a base, as they’re around a lot and have been a real encouragement in everything that’s gone on.
We had our now normal flurry of toilet users whilst tidying up, but we realise they really value this “pit stop” and it is a well received way to let them know that God loves them and to give them a VIP pass for the next day.
