Here was a team that didn’t know they were beaten! 2-0 and 4-1 down, we kept our shape, didn’t drop our heads and fought back for a superb and well deserved 4-4 draw, almost snatching a win at the end. Justin making his debuet in goal tonight having only being asked after the morning service to play, made some worls class saves. The back four of Harry, Tony, Andy and Paul A was rock solid (most of the time), with Jamie and Paul B soaking up a lot of pressure in the midfield. Cam was unlucky not to score on a few occasions, with some great skills. Phil played a good role as the lone striker and was also unlucky not to . Captain Luke Beardmore scored a nice goal, top goal-scorer Jim scored two and very kindly said Jamin (on his debuet) could have the equaliser… a scrappy goal… did it cross the line? We think it did… and we’ll take it!
