READ John 4v7-26
Simon shared from a very interesting encounter between Jesus and a Samaritan woman at a well in the heat of the day. It was an encounter when we see Jesus cut across social prejudices. He begins by asking for a cup of water and ends up telling the woman that he can quench and refresh her soul. The woman was thinking about physical thirst, whilst Jesus offered to
satisfy her spiritual thirst. This deep thirst was quenched, and from that point it overflowed to her whole village.
